ICIC-2016

The School of Systems and Technology hosted it’s 1st international Conference on 23-24 September, 2016; entitled International Conference on Innovative Computing (IC) 2. The venue of the ICIC 2016 was University Of Management And Technology Lahore, Pakistan in collaboration with George Mason University, HEC and AFAQ. The event focused on a variety of different aspects involving inventive computing methods and their applications. The aim behind the conference was to bring researchers from all around the world to a single platform to share their novel ideas and talk about their latest researches. The event included workshops (Search Engine Optimization, Arduino Programming for Smart Environments, Enterprise Software Development in Java (J2EE), Tensor Flow: The Deep Dive into Machine learning ), parallel sessions, invited talks from and paper presentations; speakers from abroad were invited to enlighten participants on various advancements around the globe.

In ICIC 2016 total 32 out of 50 papers were accepted from the domains of Image Processing, Computer Vision, Human Computer Interaction, Database, Cloud Computing, Networking, Big Data, Machine Learning, Software Engineering and Algorithms.    

The foreign speakers were Dr. Stefano Ceri, Mrs. Dr. Stefano Ceri from Italy, Dr. Ashiq Anjum from United Kingdom and Dr. Muhammad Imran from Qatar.

The national speakers part of the conference were Dr. Sharifullah Khan, Dr. Khalid Hussain from Islamabad, Dr. Haroon Rasheed   from Karachi, Dr. Fakhar Lodhi from Gujranwala, Dr. Sher Afzal Khan from King Abdul Aziz University, KSA, Dr. Maqsood Hayat from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Dr. Jan Muhammad from Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta, Dr. Jahan Akbar from Hazara University, Mansehra, Dr. Hashim Ali from HITEC University, Taxila, Dr. Malik Jahan Khan from NAMAL, Mianwali.
