The School of Systems and Technology hosted its 2nd international Conference on 14 – 16th March, 2018; entitled International Conference on Innovative Computing (IC) 2. The conference engrossed on a variety of different aspects involving inventive computing methods and their applications. The intention behind the conference was to bring researchers from all around the globe to a single stage to share their innovative ideas and exchange their up-to-date researches. The event comprised workshops (“Data Science”, “Optimizing Micro Windows (I/O Operations)”, “Advance Web Technologies” and “Cloud Computing”), academic sessions, invited talks and paper presentations; speakers from abroad were invited to enlighten participants on various expansions around the globe.
In ICIC 2018 total 126 papers out off 219 were accepted from the domains of Innovative Computing Systems & Applications, Algorithm Design, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Database System, Grid Computing, Ubiquitous Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Virtual Reality, Visualization, Social Networks, Mobile Networks and Systems, Digital Image/Video Processing, Network and Information Security, WWW application and technologies, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, User Interfaces, Visualization & Modeling, E-Learning, E-Commerce, E- Business and E-Governments.
The invited foreign speakers were Dr. Rebaca Fox from USA, Dr. Mustafa Kamal from Brunel University, Brunel Business School, Middlesex, Uxbridge, UB8 3PH, UK, Dr. Sumer Sahin from Town of origin: Erdemli, Mersin, TÜRKIYE, Dr. Mohd Shafry Bin Mohd Rahim from University Teknologi Malaysia.
